Project overview

Pointe aux Canonniers, the headland between Grand Baie and Mont Choisy

A quiet residential address a five-minute walk from the beach, seven minutes from Mont Choisy golf course and a few minutes from the lively heart of Grand Baie.

Pointe aux Canonniers is a headland on the north coast of Mauritius, between Grand Baie and Mont Choisy. The developer's brochure describes it as one of the island's most sought-after locations: fine dining, cafés, golf courses and quick access to Grand Baie, the north's centre of life with its marina, shops and schools. The developer's location map places the residence a five-minute walk from the beach access, seven minutes by car from Mont Choisy golf course, and fifteen minutes from the clinic, the supermarket and the international school.

The public beach of Mont Choisy, one of the longest on the island, runs alongside the neighbourhood: fine sand, a calm lagoon, paddleboarding, kayaking and snorkelling, food trucks and local restaurants. The Canonnier Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa and several boutique hotels occupy the tip of the headland itself.

The north remains the island's most liquid resale market and the most sought after by families living here year-round, retirees and long-term rental investors. That is the positioning THE PAC claims: a human-scale residence in an established neighbourhood, rather than a gated estate on the outskirts.

Lifestyle chapter

Lifestyle at Pointe aux Canonniers: beaches, restaurants, golf and amenities

Two beaches on foot, neighbourhood restaurants and a bakery, Mont Choisy golf course seven minutes away and Grand Baie for everything else: daily life plays out within a few kilometres.

The beaches. Pointe aux Canonniers beach is a five-minute walk from the residence according to the developer's location map. Just to the south, the public beach of Mont Choisy stretches its fine sand opposite the Coin de Mire islet: swimming in a calm lagoon, paddleboarding, kayaking and snorkelling, food trucks and local restaurants on the sand. The family beaches of Pereybère and the villages of Cap Malheureux and Grand Gaube are a few minutes to the north.

Neighbourhood restaurants and shops. The developer's map places the CocoChill and The Beach Kitchen restaurants, the Théo Fourneaux patisserie, La Payotte, the Le Fournil bakery and a gourmet grocery store around the residence. For sport and wellness, Grand Baie Gym Hydro Spa is close by. On the headland itself, the Canonnier Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa and the Seapoint Boutique Hotel open their restaurants and beaches to the neighbourhood's residents.

Golf and leisure. Mont Choisy Le Golf, seven minutes away, is the only 18-hole championship course in the north of the island, designed by Peter Matkovich and distinguished at the World Golf Awards 2025. Grand Baie, the lively heart of the north, concentrates the marina, catamaran trips to the islets, diving and kitesurfing, boutiques, nightlife and the seafront restaurants.

Services. Clinic, supermarket and international school are fifteen minutes away according to the developer. In the neighbouring Mont Choisy estate, Mont Choisy Le Mall brings together boutiques, restaurants and a supermarket, and the C-Care clinic has a 24-hour emergency unit; La Croisette shopping centre, with its restaurants and cinema, is a few minutes' drive. The international airport is about an hour away.

Project overview

42 apartments and 5 penthouses around a heated pool

Blocks of three levels, ground floor, two upper floors and penthouse, arranged around landscaped gardens, a resort-style pool and a fitness and wellness pavilion.

The developer's master plan organises the residence in blocks A to F. Blocks A, B, C and D each line up six two-bedroom apartments, three three-bedroom apartments and a four-bedroom penthouse on the top level; block E gathers six more compact two-bedroom apartments and a three-bedroom penthouse. The white façades are punctuated by timber screens and stone bases, and every level opens onto a covered terrace.

The descriptive notice provides for five lifts serving every level from the car park to the penthouses, a semi-basement resident car park that the developer presents as privatisable, outdoor visitor spaces, a security post, a visitor entrance secured by video intercom, four fast chargers for electric vehicles available on subscription and charging points for electric bikes. Backup generators cover the common areas and essential uses in the event of a grid outage.

At the centre, the heated main pool and its children's pool, the gardens planted with tropical trees, the private gym and the relaxation area with sauna and hammam form the shared heart of the residence.
