The Golden Triangle and its edges hold several palaces and a few discreet addresses, within a few minutes' walk of each other. Our selection: Maison Bauchart (a 10-key townhouse hotel, three-bedroom apartments, a spa with a pool, our partner), the Four Seasons Hotel George V (Palace, 3 MICHELIN Keys, three starred restaurants), the Hôtel Plaza Athénée (Palace, 3 Keys, Dior Spa), La Réserve Paris (Palace, 3 Keys, Le Gabriel ★★★), the Prince de Galles (Art Deco, 5-star) and the Hôtel Vernet (Gustave Eiffel glass roof, 5-star). The three palaces in this selection are not the only ones nearby: Bvlgari Hotel Paris and Fouquet's Paris, both on avenue George V, are neighbouring palaces outside this selection. The best one depends on the stay: family and privacy, fine dining, fashion or design. Facts checked on October 19, 2026.

Facts checked on October 19, 2026 on the houses' official websites, in the MICHELIN Guide and in Atout France's 2026 Palace collection; crow-flies distances from Maison Bauchart. Only Maison Bauchart has shared its rate range with us (October 2026, dynamic pricing by season); the others quote on request. Each house sets its own prices, confirmed at booking. Booking through GADAIT costs nothing extra.
Our partner house, and the most discreet address in this selection: a Second Empire townhouse hidden behind a carriage door on rue Quentin-Bauchart, between avenue George V and avenue Marceau. Just ten keys, 8 suites and 2 duplex lofts set in the former stables at the back of the patio. Neighbouring suites connect into apartments, three of them with 3 bedrooms for 6 guests (120 to 135 m²). A spa with an indoor pool, Moroccan hammam and sauna, reached by lift from your floor, and butlers rather than a front desk.
Why it comes first: it brings together what families rarely find in one place, a three-bedroom apartment, a spa with a pool and butlers, in a ten-key house where you hardly meet another guest. We stayed there as a family, across three generations, for four nights in August 2026, in the two-bedroom Galliera Suite: a preferences questionnaire before arrival, the car parked by the team at the Prince de Galles when the street was closed for works, a couples' massage at the spa. It holds neither a MICHELIN Key nor the Palace distinction: it ranks first for what it makes possible, not for its medals.

The palace that, in the MICHELIN Guide's words, helped create the category: 243 rooms and suites reworked by Pierre-Yves Rochon, flower displays that have become its signature, afternoon tea at La Galerie, a cellar put at some 50,000 bottles, and a Penthouse whose terrace faces the Eiffel Tower.
Why it is here: three starred restaurants under one roof, six stars in all including Christian Le Squer's three at Le Cinq, a first in Europe according to the hotel. For a stay built around the table, it is the obvious address on avenue George V.

Dorchester Collection's 'Haute Couture address' at 25 avenue Montaigne: a façade of geraniums and red awnings, rooms looking out to the Eiffel Tower, the Art Deco Relais Plaza, Le Bar with its iceberg-like counter, and the Dior Spa, opened in 2023 according to the MICHELIN Guide.
Why it is here: it is the fashion palace, on the avenue of the couture houses. La Grande Table du Plaza Athénée holds one star, Le Relais Plaza is in the Guide's selection, and the hotel belongs to the 2026 Palace collection.

A 19th-century townhouse on avenue Gabriel, between the Faubourg Saint-Honoré and avenue Montaigne, next to the Élysée gardens and dressed by Jacques Garcia: 25 suites and 15 rooms, from 40 m² up to 220 m² for the Grand Palais Suite, each with its own butler, and a spa with a 16-metre indoor pool. On place du Trocadéro, La Réserve Paris Apartments also offers apartments of 140 to 300 m² with butler, housekeeper and valet.
Why it is here: Le Gabriel, Jérôme Banctel's three-star table, in a palace of just forty keys, the most intimate of the three palaces in this selection. It sits at the edge of the Golden Triangle, on the Élysée side, one street from the Champs-Élysées.

Directly opposite Maison Bauchart, the Prince de Galles describes itself as the 'flagship of the Parisian Art Deco movement since 1929': 116 rooms and 43 suites, some with a terrace or balcony over Paris, 48 m² Mosaic suites with mosaic bathrooms, and Akira Back, the chef's first European restaurant, included in the MICHELIN Guide's selection.
Why it is here: authentic Art Deco in the heart of the Golden Triangle, backed by an international network (The Luxury Collection, Marriott). It is also our neighbour from our own stay: in August 2026, the Maison Bauchart team parked our car there.

A discreet address since 1913, between the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées, which the MICHELIN Guide places 'right in the heart of the Golden Triangle between avenues George V and Marceau': 50 rooms reworked by interior architect François Champsaur, original marble, and Le V restaurant, serving Mediterranean cuisine beneath a glass roof whose frame was designed by Gustave Eiffel.
Why it is here: it is the contemporary note in this selection, with connecting rooms promoted for families and a Clefs d'Or concierge. The hotel reports being ranked 12th in Paris in Condé Nast Traveler's 2026 Readers' Choice Awards.
We do not publish in-house reviews: here, sourced and dated, are each address's official distinctions. The MICHELIN Guide for hotels and restaurants, Atout France for palaces, and our own stay for the house we know from the inside.
The perimeter first. The Golden Triangle is drawn by avenue Montaigne, avenue George V and the Champs-Élysées, with the streets around them. The Plaza Athénée, the Four Seasons George V and the Prince de Galles stand on its founding avenues; Maison Bauchart and the Hôtel Vernet on adjoining streets the neighbourhood claims as its own; La Réserve Paris, on avenue Gabriel, marks its edge on the Élysée side and earns its place through its palace status and apartments. Le Royal Monceau, on avenue Hoche by the Parc Monceau, falls outside the perimeter.
Then singularity: each address had to answer a specific wish (a ten-key house, the great table, fashion, Art Deco, design). Finally, evidence: MICHELIN Keys and stars, Atout France's Palace collection and facts published by the houses themselves, all checked on October 19, 2026.
Full transparency: Maison Bauchart is our official partner, the house we know best because we have stayed there. The other five belong to our independent editorial selection, with no commercial tie. For any given brief, we honestly recommend whichever fits, partner or not.

Luxury real-estate and stay advisory — official hotel partner of Monteverdi Tuscany and Maison Bauchart in Paris, independent editorial selection for the other houses. Every fact on this page is sourced (Michelin Guide, the houses' public materials) and dated; pages are re-verified quarterly.
Our editorial method →There is no single answer, only the right address for each stay. Our reading: Maison Bauchart for privacy and families (a 10-key townhouse hotel, three-bedroom apartments, our partner), the Four Seasons George V for dining (three starred restaurants), the Plaza Athénée for fashion and avenue Montaigne, La Réserve Paris for an intimate palace and Le Gabriel ★★★, the Prince de Galles for Art Deco, the Hôtel Vernet for contemporary design.
Only one house has shared its range with us: Maison Bauchart, at €1,600 to €4,600 per suite per night depending on category and season, service and 10% VAT included; breakfast (€38 or €58 per adult) and city tax (€11.70 per adult per night) are extra (rates shared by the house, October 2026, dynamic and not guaranteed). The other five do not publish a 'from' rate on their official websites and quote on request by date. GADAIT quotes the addresses you are considering on the same dates, so you compare like with like.
The part of the 8th arrondissement drawn by avenue Montaigne, avenue George V and the Champs-Élysées, with the streets around them (Marceau, François-Ier, Quentin-Bauchart). It is home to the couture houses, several palaces and a handful of discreet addresses. Maison Bauchart, the Four Seasons George V and the Prince de Galles stand within 100 metres of one another.
Three palaces in this selection are part of Atout France's 2026 Palace collection: the Four Seasons Hotel George V, the Hôtel Plaza Athénée and La Réserve Paris. Bvlgari Hotel Paris and Fouquet's Paris, on avenue George V, are neighbouring palaces outside this selection. Maison Bauchart, the Prince de Galles and the Hôtel Vernet are 5-star hotels.
Maison Bauchart, which joins connecting suites into apartments with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for 6 guests, with a spa and butlers; we stayed there across three generations in August 2026. Other options: the Hôtel Vernet's connecting rooms, the family offer published by the Four Seasons George V, and La Réserve Paris Apartments (140 to 300 m², place du Trocadéro) for a very large standalone apartment.
MICHELIN Keys rate hotels the way stars rate restaurants: 1 Key for a very special stay, 2 for an exceptional stay, 3 for an extraordinary stay. As of October 19, 2026, the Four Seasons George V, the Plaza Athénée and La Réserve Paris hold 3 Keys each (9 in total); the Hôtel Vernet is selected without a Key; the Prince de Galles and Maison Bauchart are not in the hotel selection. On the restaurant side: Le Cinq ★★★, L'Orangerie ★★, Le George ★, Le Gabriel ★★★ and La Grande Table du Plaza Athénée ★, or 10 stars.
Because this ranking follows how you will use the hotel, not the medals. Maison Bauchart is a 5-star hotel with no Key or Palace distinction, and we do not present it otherwise. It comes first because it offers what few addresses combine: a three-bedroom apartment, a spa with a pool, butlers and only ten keys. It is also our official partner and the only house on this page where we have stayed ourselves. For a gastronomic stay, we recommend the George V or La Réserve.
One conversation is enough: dates, number of guests, the spirit of the stay. GADAIT is Maison Bauchart's official partner and arranges the other five addresses as an independent stay advisor, with no commercial tie to them: availability, suites, tables and transfers, at the hotels' own rates, at no extra cost, with an answer within 4 hours.
