Few luxury hotels in Paris can put six people behind a single door: most suites stop at four guests, and the usual answer is two connecting rooms. The most complete option we know in the 8th is Maison Bauchart, a five-star townhouse hotel just off avenue George V and GADAIT's official partner: its Apartments II, III and IV each join two neighbouring suites into three bedrooms and three bathrooms for six guests — Apartment II (Galliera + Bassano, over 130 m², second floor), III (Montaigne + Marceau, 135 m², third floor) and IV (Magellan + Alma, 120 m², under the roofs, with a round bath and a private hammam) — with the indoor pool and spa one lift ride away. Other serious options: La Réserve Paris Apartments at Trocadéro (one to four bedrooms, spa and pool at the La Réserve Paris hotel, a few minutes away by car) and family suites or connecting rooms in five-star hotels such as the Vernet. Each three-bedroom apartment at Maison Bauchart uses two of its ten keys, so book early.
Hotel suites are sized and declared for a set number of occupants, and at the top end of Paris that number is usually two or four. A family of six therefore ends up split across two units, often on different corridors, unless the hotel has genuine multi-bedroom apartments. At Maison Bauchart, no single key takes more than four guests; six is only possible in the three-bedroom apartments, which is exactly what they were designed for.
Apartment II joins the Galliera and Bassano suites on the second floor: more than 130 m², running through from the street to the garden side, three bedrooms, three bathrooms. Apartment III joins Montaigne (1930s Art Deco, accessible for guests with reduced mobility) and Marceau on the third floor: 135 m². Apartment IV joins Magellan (an ocean-liner suite with two portholes) and Alma under the roofs: 120 m², with Alma's round bathtub, private hammam and walk-in dressing room. Several of these suites have open, fully equipped kitchens, and breakfast is served in the apartment.
| Apartment | Suites joined | Floor | Surface | Bedrooms / bathrooms | Guests |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| II | Galliera + Bassano | 2nd | 130 m²+ | 3 / 3 | 6 |
| III | Montaigne + Marceau | 3rd | 135 m² | 3 / 3 | 6 |
| IV | Magellan + Alma | Under the roofs | 120 m² | 3 / 3 | 6 |
Source: the house's apartment pages, checked 19 October 2026. Apartment I (George V + Elysée, nearly 150 m²) has two bedrooms and takes four.
We stayed at Maison Bauchart across three generations in August 2026, four nights in the Galliera Suite (two bedrooms). What made the difference for a mixed-age family: a salon big enough for an extra bed, a team that planned the stay with us through a preferences questionnaire before arrival, a WhatsApp line for every small request, and a spa with an indoor pool reached by lift, which is a gift on a rainy Paris afternoon. Valet parking and private transfers from the airports and stations, both listed by the house, take care of arrivals with luggage.
La Réserve Paris Apartments, on place du Trocadéro in the 16th, rents serviced apartments of one to four bedrooms, with access to the spa and pool of La Réserve Paris Hotel and Spa a few minutes away by car, according to its own site. The Hôtel Vernet, a five-star hotel on rue Vernet in the 8th, offers family suites and connecting rooms. Palaces such as the Four Seasons George V can connect a suite to one or more rooms on request. All are good answers; the difference is whether you want one shared living room or several separate units.
From rue Quentin-Bauchart, the Champs-Élysées are at the end of the street, avenue Montaigne and the Seine a few minutes' walk away, and the Eiffel Tower on the other bank of the Seine. The George V (line 1) and Alma-Marceau (line 9) metro stations are close, though most families we advise use a driver arranged by the house.
Each apartment for six takes two of Maison Bauchart's ten keys off the market, and there are only three such apartments. During school holidays, the Fashion Weeks or the end-of-year season, they go first. Send us your dates and the ages of the children; as the house's official partner, GADAIT checks the right apartment and holds it with the team, at no extra cost to you.
