Direct answer

Yes. A handful of Paris townhouse hotels can be booked in their entirety, and Maison Bauchart, a five-star townhouse hotel just off avenue George V and GADAIT's official partner, offers it officially: you become, in the house's own words, the master or mistress of the home. A buyout gives you all ten keys — eight suites and two duplex lofts, for up to 28 guests in theory (GADAIT calculation from the published capacities; the house does not state a figure) — together with the spa and indoor pool, the bar, the winter-garden salon, the cigar lounge, the 500-bottle wine cellar and the planted patio, with private chefs, butlers and close protection on request. The house also hosts private dinners, birthdays, photo shoots, showrooms and product launches. The house's terms (shared with us in October 2026): a buyout is required from seven suites; it starts from €24,000 a night in the lowest season, buyout premium included, with a two-night minimum in low season (high season on request); private arrival transfers from the airport or station are included for every guest; a 50% non-refundable deposit is due on booking and the balance 60 days before arrival. The key weeks — Fashion Weeks, the year-end season — must be secured well ahead.

In detail

What privatising actually means

There are two very different things behind the word. Many historic hôtels particuliers in Paris can be hired for an evening event, but nobody sleeps there. Privatising a hotel means taking every key and every shared space for the length of your stay: no other guests, the whole team working for your group, and the house arranged around your programme. In a palace, the scale makes a full buyout exceptional; you would usually reserve a set of suites or a floor. In a ten-key townhouse, the whole house is within reach.

Maison Bauchart in full: the inventory

Ten keys: six for two guests (George V, Elysée, Bassano, Marceau, Alma, the Chaillot loft) and four two-bedroom keys for four (Galliera, Montaigne, Magellan, the Bauchart loft). Shared spaces: a marble lobby and grand staircase, the Bar de la Maison, a salon in a winter garden opening onto the patio, a London-club-style cigar lounge and a vaulted cellar of 500 bottles. Wellbeing: an indoor pool, a Moroccan hammam, a sauna, two treatment suites and a gym. Service: butlers (reservations, personal shopper, florist, packing and unpacking, close protection, private coach), private chefs, valet parking and transfers.

The house's terms

Maison Bauchart shared its buyout terms with us in October 2026. From seven suites, the house is booked in full: the whole hotel, all ten suites and the shared spaces, exclusively. Rates start from €24,000 a night in the lowest season, buyout premium included, which makes €48,000 including taxes for the two-night minimum that applies in low season; high season is quoted on request. Private transfers on arrival, from the airport or the railway station, are included for every guest. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due on booking and the balance 60 days before arrival; without it, the booking is cancelled automatically and the deposit retained.

What a buyout is good for

A family milestone — a birthday, an anniversary or another private event on request, with every guest under one roof. A board retreat or a confidential meeting where nobody should cross another guest in the corridor. A brand during Fashion Week, with a showroom, fittings and a dinner in the same house — the house lists showrooms, photo shoots and product launches among its events. A celebrity stay where discretion is the whole brief.

What to settle before you sign

Dates first, because the Paris Fashion Weeks (in 2027: 19–24 January, 1–9 March, 22–27 June and 27 September–5 October, per the FHCM) and the year-end season are taken earliest. Then the number of nights: Maison Bauchart asks for two nights minimum in low season. Then food and drink: the house lists no restaurant open to the public, so dinners are cooked by private chefs and planned in advance. Then security and confidentiality: guest list, arrivals through the carriage door, close protection if needed. And the street itself: rue Quentin-Bauchart is a short 360-metre street, which helps discretion but calls for planning around cars.

If a full buyout is more than you need

Below seven suites, you book keys rather than the house. Two connecting suites form an apartment of up to three bedrooms for six; add the Bauchart loft at the end of the patio and a family of ten stays under one roof. Ask, too, for a private tasting in the cigar lounge or a chef's dinner in your suite: the house lists both.

How GADAIT builds the request

We stayed at Maison Bauchart as a family in August 2026 and are its official partner: we know the house and the team knows us. Send us the occasion, the dates, the number of guests and the programme you have in mind; we come back with the right scope — the whole house or part of it — and the house's terms for your dates, at no extra cost to you.

This page is general travel information. Facts were checked on 19 October 2026 against official sources (Atout France, the Ville de Paris, the FHCM, hotels' own sites). Nightly rates are directional and never guaranteed: hotels set and change their own prices, and every figure must be confirmed for your dates at booking.
