Direct answer

Monteverdi Tuscany can be booked directly with the hotel or through GADAIT, its official hospitality partner — at the hotel's own rates, with the advantage that one advisor also locks the tables, spa, experiences and transfers. Know before you book: the hotel has around 32 keys across five categories (Village Rooms and Suites of 22–32 m², Tuscan View Suites of 29–47 m², the 58 m² Monte Cetona Suite, plus three Private Village Houses sleeping 4–12 with a 3-night minimum); nightly rates are directionally €700–1,500 for rooms and €1,700–5,000 for houses; check-in is at 4pm; the final approach is a gravel road above Sarteano, with private transfers arranged from Rome (about 2 hours) or Florence (about 1.5 hours).

In detail

Choosing the right room — or house

Couples celebrating something choose the Monte Cetona Suite (58 m², private terrace, travertine soaking tub) or a Tuscan View Suite for the valley panorama; village-side rooms trade the big view for medieval-lane charm and a gentler rate. Families and groups should compare the three houses: San Pietro (2 bedrooms, sleeps 4), Amiata (3 bedrooms, sleeps 6, private infinity pool, outdoor kitchen) and Muri Antichi (6 bedrooms, sleeps 12, chef's kitchen, wine cellar, library). House guests keep full access to the hotel's restaurants, spa and programme.

What to pre-book, honestly

The experiences that define the stay are private and capacity-limited, and they sell out in season: the all-day Brunello and Vino Nobile wine tours, truffle foraging (autumn), the Culinary Academy's classes (up to 10 students), Oreade's tasting-menu dinners (Tuesday–Saturday, last seating 8:30pm) and the church concert series (roughly August–October). Book these when you book the room, not on arrival — it is the single most common mistake we correct.

Why book it through GADAIT

As an official partner we work at the hotel's published rates — the traveller pays nothing extra — and our request lands with people who know us. One conversation covers dates and the right room or house, dinners, spa, experiences, kids' activities, and private transfers with meet-and-greet. Practicalities worth knowing: children are welcome (cribs in all categories, kids' cooking and floral workshops), pets can join in outdoor public spaces but not overnight, and cancellation runs 7 days for rooms and 30 days for the private houses.
