Parikia, the port capital, is practical rather than glamorous; the inland villages — Lefkes above all — offer Cycladic authenticity at a remove from the water. Most of the collection concentrates where guests actually want to wake up: the Naoussa orbit and the coasts.
The Paros calendar
July and August are the island's festive fortnight equivalent: the best villas are reserved by late spring, minimum stays lengthen, and rates peak. June and September are the connoisseur's months — sea warm, evenings long, island unhurried — and May and October reward travellers who want Paros mostly to themselves.
